Rose was the third child. Rose Greimann Des Moines Rose Greimann died Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines. She was 72. Rose was born March 13, 1938 in Missouri Valley, IA. At the age of ten, she was adopted by Donald "Pat" and Lena McMahan of Des Moines. She married G.W. "George" Greimann on October 3, 1959. They remained in Des Moines to raise their two daughters, Denise and Kim. Rose worked as a beautician and in various positions in the Roosevelt neighborhood. She retired from Roosevelt Hair Concepts in 2006. She was a member of Acanthus O.E.S., and Westminster Presbyterian Church. Rose is survived by her husband, George; daughters, Denise (William) Blakely of Alleman, Kim (Jim) Stocks of Ankeny; and grandchildren, Benjamin (Afton) Blakely, A.J. Stocks, Michael Stocks, Aaron Blakely, Mark Stocks, Sarah Blakely, and Tina Stocks. Services will be held Saturday, February 12, at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel, 6337 Hickman Road, Des Moines. There will be a visitation from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and a memorial service following at 10:30 a.m., with a private burial at Masonic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, Des Moines.
